Is there a magic number of sessions to feel great?
Hey there,
I hope you're enjoying the bliss that comes with these summer days, whether it be a hammock nap, the promise of adventure, sun-kissed skin or the bounty from the garden. My family has been doing a lot of swimming, splash pads, camping, a family reunion, gardening, as well as a lot of rest.
With summer comes deviations in our schedule to allow for the important things like vacations, family, outdoor activities better done this time of year, and more. If it's been a minute since I’ve seen you for a session at Studio 400, I can't wait to hear about what you've been up to!
Pretty soon, if not already, you might be craving a reset through movement. Think back to how you feel after a Pilates Movement Therapy session or class. It's the realignment through simple movements, ah-hah moments, the awareness of your own body and most importantly, the empowerment you felt afterwards to take your healing into your own hands - this is why you come to me.
Some hints from your body that you might need to make your studio visits a bit more regular -
You’re starting to feel some of those old patterns and sneaky pain creep in.
You’re feeling the same areas of your body act up during your activity of choice like walking, tennis, running, playing with kids or grandkids, while traveling, or just throughout daily life.
You know you need to stay on top of movement in order to keep the gains you worked so hard for, and you could use a little direction, motivation and support.
So no, there is no magic number of sessions to make you feel great. But the above are are all signs you need a little more consistency in your life of taking care of your body to keep it at its best. I can help you pinpoint what exactly you can be doing!
