Studio 400 Instructors

Mandee Louie, owner & Instructor

It is our hope and deepest desire to provide movement therapy to those experiencing pain or discomfort in their bodies. The goal is to empower you to get out of pain. Each session is approached like a puzzle, using the pieces of movement education to connect the dots in each specific body and bring it back to ideal alignment. We welcome all bodies for individualized care through private studio sessions, virtual private sessions, and virtual group classes.

Mandee Louie

Mandee holds a full certification in StottⓇ Pilates and has been teaching since 2011. She holds further certificates and has taken courses in Injuries & Special Populations, Zenga & Fascial Movement Foundations, Core Align, EDS/Hypermobility, specializes in Prenatal/Postpartum and Pelvic Floor, and is a Specialist in Pilates Based Education for Neurological Conditions (PMA). She has taken master courses with training in the cervical spine & whiplash, hip & knee replacements, and many, many more areas of specialty. She helps students with a myriad of conditions such as SI pain, traumatic brain injuries, pelvic floor dysfunction, EDS/Hypermobility, fibromyalgia, back pain, hip pain, chronic pain, endometriosis, brain fog & brain disorganization, post surgery rehab, and many, many more. Through Movement Therapy, she strives to create body awareness for her clients and empower them to make lasting changes through homework and personalized reset routines. Her goal is to help people live differently in their bodies to create a pain free life of movement.

In 2015, she left her corporate job as an apparel developer at Nike to pursue wellness full time. She traveled to India in early 2016 to study alignment-based yoga and completed her 200-hour yoga certificate through the Yoga Alliance. While in India, she also studied at the Omkarananda Ashram in Rishikesh, India, under the instruction of Usha Devi, who studied with Yoga master BKS Iyengar from 1993 until his death. She has since returned to India several times, both to pursue Yoga trainings in Ayurveda & Lunar Cycles and for retreat. She continues to study Iyengar Yoga and has taken an additional teacher training with Julie Lawrence. You can read more about her story of moon-lighting as an Instructor and making the switch to full-time teaching here. Mandee has found deep joy in making her passion her lifestyle, and being able to share it with others brings her deep contentment, otherwise known as Santosha in sanskrit, the ancient language of yoga. Megan Quinn

Megan Quinn has a BFA in Dance from Temple University. I love her approach to movement as being both research and creativity. She has learned that painful movement does not have to be stuck forever, rather that it can be revealed, moved with, and transformed. Her Pilates teacher training comes from the 450 hour program at Drexel Pilates, under Jennifer Morley - a teacher who is beloved and deeply influential in her work. She worked with the Drexel Pilates community for over a decade, gathering experience in curriculum, movement science and community building. She now owns Movement Connections, and I met her within The Friday Society, a membership for women business owners like the two of us. I believe her nature is similar to mine with her encouraging teaching style and that she will be the perfect fit! Megan will be taking over Sunday's 8:30am Online Reformer class and Mondays 9amPST Therapeutic Pilates class during Mandee’s 2025 maternity leave, as well as teaches the Pilates for Hypermobility Course. She says she feels a real alignment with my approach to resets and healthy movement patterns, while also infuses her background as a dancer, so folks can probably expect some creative flow in classes!

Brooke Armstrong

Brooke Armstrong earned her BFA in Dance and Choreography from VCU then moved to Orlando to dance for several companies including her own. Dancing at that level inevitably led to injuries and set her on her path to Movement Therapy via Yoga. She started yoga for cross training and fell in love with the deep connection, love and appreciation she was making with her body after years of trying to fit it into a box and sweat it into submission. So she, having been described as somebody who "eats information for breakfast, lunch, and dinner," didn't stop there and started seeking more knowledge beginning with a Yin and Restorative Yoga certification. A few years later she completed a 16 month apprenticeship in the EKS Method earning a 1,200hr yoga and pain management certification. Most recently, she has been studying NeuroKinetic Therapy, NKT, protocols and is currently Level 1 certified. Brooke owns Orlando Private Yoga and I also met her through The Friday Society. Brooke's Yoga style seems the closest I have found to my Pilates informed Yoga style, and she even also uses the term Movement Therapy to describe her Yoga sessions! She excels in several areas that I do not, so please take advantage of her knowledge! She will be taking over the Online Yoga class on Tuesdays at 8amPST during Mandee’s 2025 maternity leave. Brooke is extremely open to your feedback and says to feel free to share it with her so she can customize the classes!

Peggy O’Keefe

Peggy O'Keefe is a certified STOTT PILATES instructor.  She started in pilates after working in the fitness/personal training field for 10 years.   She has completed many of the STOTT certifications such as the Functional Anatomy, the Mat courses, Reformer courses, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel course along with the Injuries and Special Populations.

What has inspired Peggy the most about teaching Pilates is how she has seen it empower people to become aware of their bodies and to be able to heal their body from muscles imbalances, injuries, balance issues etc,  and to truly become a stronger version of themselves.

When Peggy is not teaching Pilates she is spending time with her 7 year old grandson, family and friends.  She loves lifting weights, hiking and spending time in the mountains.  Peggy teaches private sessions at Studio 400 one afternoon a week.

Emma Sulivan Uebele

Emma Uebele is a certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor. She came to Pilates as a young teen to avoid double knee surgery and manage chronic pain related to living with hypermobility. Since then, Pilates has been a cornerstone of her rehabilitation from multiple injuries and laid the foundation for a life with greater awareness and miraculously less pain.

Emma has completed the Injuries and Special Populations course and believes strongly in Pilates as a tool to strengthen and re-empower the body, to live with less pain and greater confidence and ease. Emma also has a Master’s Degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and uses both the arts and movement to help individuals and communities move through trauma and towards healing.

When not in the virtual studio she can likely be found making art, working on projects in global conflict zones, or hiking around the Pacific Northwest. You can find out more about her practice here: www.emmasullivan.art. Check out what people are saying about Emma here.
