how to earn the change
Hey members,
You don’t have to obsess about doing the work everyday, but you do have to do it consistently.
The cool thing about Pilates Movement Therapy is that you often start making small incremental changes in your daily life simply by the awareness you gain in your sessions and small groups, and these small things add up to big results. Consistency looks different for everyone, and I’m here to help you stay on track with your movement practice.
In your 1:1 sessions, I give you the exact exercises you need to get out of pain and improve your strength, alignment and balance. There are a variety of offerings that work well together to help make lasting changes. Using a variety of options is when I see the most results for my students! Try adding something to your routine that you're not doing- whether it be 1:1, small group training at the studio, an online class or more consistent videos on your own- notice what the combination of these offerings brings- more consistency, a way of imprinting the learning, and creating ah-hah moments that create the change you need to make progress.
The reality is, living with inopportune posture (unintentional of course) creates misloading and can tug and pull muscles in places they weren’t designed to stay for long periods of time. These holding patterns can lead to pain and sometimes injury. You might get away with it for a while, but it will creep up on us one way or another. Earn the change by committing to the offerings in Pilates Movement Therapy, setting you up for enjoying a happy and healthy body!
Seasons can get busy and one way to ensure you’ll stay consistent is to book your classes & sessions in advance. If you have a trip coming up, make sure you’re signed up for something before and afterward. I encourage you to purchase a six-pack of 1:1 sessions and book a few or all, and sign up for the next few online classes or in person small group training!
As a member of The Santosha Movement Society, you have so much support from me on your journey with movement- you can see the change you want to see!
I can’t wait to see you! I'm right here if you need anything.
