SMALL GROUPS AT STUDIO 400
Hey there friends!
There are upcoming small groups happening in person at Studio 400! I've organized them into two formats to best group people according to their experience and needs. Read about each below. If you are curious which of the two class types is the best fit for you, just ask!
Pilates Foundationals Small Group: Limit of 5 people. We’ll go over the foundational basics with time for correction and hands on adjustments. We’ll find a new, more aligned position for your body through the resets and then move into some strengthening Pilates movements. Reserved for members/current 1:1 students, best for those in the initial journey of Pilates Movement Therapy. If you’re new, you’re welcome to join the Santosha Movement Society first (which also gives you 20% other offerings like 1:1’s, workshops & virtual classes!) I’m able to give the best experience to each student with the small group and with members whom I’ve had the chance to learn what they best need in a prior session.
Pilates/Yoga Small Group: Limit of 5 people. For those with more experience in my classes or 1:1 sessions who desire an in person small group setting to refine, challenge and align through discoveries about our posture and movement. We'll have time and space for hands on corrections while maintaining the flow of class. Open to all who have moved through the Pilates Movement Therapy program in the past or have been in it for some time.
As we have all experienced through my teaching style, small and basic movements are often mentally and physically challenging even when it seems slow and small. And when something feels easy, we can be a bit suspicious of it! The small group classes are a great way to get more time with eyes on you as a compliment to your 1:1 Pilates Movement Therapy sessions and online classes.
