Spring, New Life, New Projects

Happy Spring! Spring is my favorite time of year. It kicks off with my birthday and the daffodils and then I start planting my garden. Everyone’s yard starts to come to life and walking around the neighborhood starts to take longer as I admire the changes taking place before my eyes. This year we have another birthday right before spring as Jaden turned one years old on March 2nd! I can hardly believe my little guy is a year old. He is walking, running and playing in the dirt. He can be found trying to pick the beautiful flowers that have begun to bloom and picking up every little piece of nature to examine it. This infant stage has flown by and he is now approaching toddlerhood!

During my postpartum period, I filmed my journey with recovery through breath and movement. These clips turned into 25 short videos leading through the postpartum period after a few days all the way through the first 6 months and even a year. They lead you in gently rebuilding strength after the major event of birthing. In my work, I have seen many people who did not do this specific work following birth who spent years unwinding things like pain, tension, incontinence, weak core, limited mobility, etc. My goal was to give the tools needed to recover properly and build back strength to avoid issues down the road. While those issues are common, it’s not normal, and I knew there was a way to return to optimal pelvic floor health.

These videos are inside the On Demand Library in their own category, but lately I've been hard at work the past few months curating my Postpartum content into its own course. The videos are also always available in the monthly subscription, but I've separated them out in their own package to highlight the work and make it available for a stand alone purchase for Mama's. It's not about bouncing back as society might tell us. It's softer and gentler, reaching that parasympathetic state of rest and calm in order to rebuild strength and ease of movement. When we do it like society tells us, we might suffer in silence thinking our symptoms are just how it is after birthing. But the truth is there is a way to heal and I want to share that with everyone!

If you know someone who is expecting, this would be a great gift for them! Stay tuned for more info once it's ready, and click here to be notified when it becomes available for purchase and receive my free Postpartum Movement & Recovery ebook!  If you want to use or gift the content now, subscribe to the On Demand library here
