Santosha Pilates Movement Therapy

Pilates Movement Therapy (PMT) offers a personalized approach to addressing specific pain points, postural imbalances, and various conditions or injuries. This hybrid model combines in person care with recap notes and videos to bridge gaps between sessions, providing support, real-time adjustments, and accountability for faster, more effective results. This approach removes barriers like time & trying to remember what we did in sessions and exactly how, while empowering students with the tools and education to achieve long-term independence and symptom management. By blending my hands-on expertise in sessions with the flexibility of offerings like online videos, live classes and in studio classes, we empower the student to actually learn and make changes themselves without relying on the upcoming session and Instructor. This is the way I deliver personalized care that maximizes outcomes and prevents recurring issues.

Pilates Movement Therapy serves as a bridge between physical therapy and fitness activities, empowering individuals to observe, sense, and improve their body's form and technique. By tailoring movements rooted in Pilates to each person, noticeable changes in body alignment can occur within a single session.

Whether you're dealing with issues like back pain, SI problems, hypermobility, neck/shoulder discomfort, pelvic floor challenges, plantar fasciitis, or post-surgery recovery, Pilates Movement Therapy can make a significant difference. Classes & Small Groups Training

Small group classes allow you to practice your personalized movement plan and receive feedback. Online Small Groups, In Person Small Groups, and Toddler Yoga available.

Online Classes

  • Therapeutic Pilates Online - Mondays 9am

  • Online Yoga - Tuesdays 8am

  • Online Reformer - Sundays 8:30am

In Person Small Groups

  • Foundational Basics Small Group - rotating times: Limit of 5 people. We’ll go over the foundational basics with time for correction and hands on adjustments. We’ll find a new, more aligned position for your body through the resets and then move into some strengthening Pilates movements. Reserved for members, best for those in the initial journey of Pilates Movement Therapy.

  • Pilates/Yoga Small Group - rotating times: Limit of 5 people. For members with more experience in my classes or 1:1 sessions who desire an in person small group setting to refine, challenge and align through discoveries about our posture and movement. We'll have time and space for hands on corrections while maintaining the flow of class.

Toddler Yoga

  • Toddler Yoga: Monthly Classes. Toddlers and their adult will play, sing and move on the mat. 18 months to four years. In Person monthly classes appear on the regular class schedule. More info on Toddler Yoga here.
